    Hello everybody. I have two simple questions, but I can not find info about.

    1. Can ISA Server 2006 send Alerts Emails with SMTP Authentication?

    2. Can Isa Server 2006 connect to none defult SMTP TCP port (25) to send alerts? I tryed "smtpserver:2525" but seems is not working.

      Hi,

      1) Not builtin. But you can execute a script instead of the SMTP alert and the script contains a tool like BLAT or SMTPSEND or any other tool which allows to send e-mail via comamnd line tools.

      2) AFAIK no. Have you created a Firewall rule for your specific "SMTP" port?

        Hello Mark.

        1.- Now Im using MAilIT from "NUTS" package...but is not so manageable, define every alert plus every script :-)

        2.- Yeas, I created the rule but ISA is dont like another SMTP port.

        Well, that's all, thanks for confirm my suspects.
