- When run MAP I get SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio Analog Devices, Inc. The latest driver for this device is available on the Windows Update website.
I went to http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us and ran a custom check for updates and found no hardware updates. Should I have been using I different procedure?

I believe that you have the correct most recent driver on that machine. In this case the MAP hardware driver data may be/is out of date. Please ignore this message and know that windowsupdate has provided you will all your update needs.

- The update for this driver should be presented as an OPTIONAL update from windowsupdate.com...have you checked here?
-Eric If I enter in www.windowsupdate.com, I get http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us . No, I did not find any hardware updates.
- What is the version number of that driver that your seeing?
