Try a different user account on the same PC. That will clarify if it's a user or profile issue.

    Try a different external webcam.

What is the pc? what is the webcam?

    thanks

    Hi,sbaird80,

Please try what Tom suggested above, and please give us more details about your PC and webcam model.

Are there any error message or event ID generated when Lync crashed?

Is your webcam driver specified to this webcam or it's a universal driver? Is it 64bit either?

Did you try to run another application with this webcam?Does it work?

Would you please enable Lync client logging and reproduce the issue again? Then use snooper to analyze the log to get more specific information.

    B/R
