Microsoft SharePoint Online Code Analysis Framework (MSOCAF) is a tool (with FXcop rules), used for code analysis in sharepoint 2010/2007 ..

    Thanks.

I have no objection to abbreviations provided everyone knows what theyou mean. I wasn't convinced of that this time.

As you are posting here, we can assume I hope that you are asking about its use with SP 2007.

    Hi,

According to your description, the SharePoint Online engineering team may continue to add rules and plug-ins according to the MSOCAF compliance policy, which is described in the SharePoint Online Dedicated Custom Solution Policies and Process document. Please take a look.

    Best regards,
    David Hu

As you seem to be indicating in your reply that this is a function of SharePoint Online, I'm moving the thread to the SharePoint Online forum.

If the product had been spelled out in the original post, I probably would have spotted the reference to SharePoint Online as it was this thread has been in the wrong forum too long. My fault.

Rules in MSOCAF cannot be customized. These are pre-defined by the SharePoint Online Team in Office 365 in compliance of their polcies and processes. If you are working on behalf of an enterprise customer who has purchased Office 365 Dedicpated Plans license, send an email to your techincal contact in Microsoft to get the rule definitions and you can then configure FXCOP.
