Hi Venkat,
During installation, you will get a screen asking for type of Installation - Standalone or Server Farm. You have to choose Server Farm, to get the screen for providing Drive/Path information.

Hope this helps,
Thanks & Regards,

You can specify another drive -- but SharePoint will still put the information in the root folder (../14) on the C drive. It doesn't take up a ton of space. What takes up the most space on a SharePoint server are the index, log, and database files all which can easily be moved to another drive.

Note that the Complete install only lets you redirect certain components (e.g. Search index data). You can move SharePoint's log files through the web UI. Other components are installed at the IIS root (INETPUB), which isn't as easy to move. In addition, the IIS logs can get quite large.
I wrote an article today about all of the things you need to do to minimize the C: footprint, including moving INETPUB and the IIS Logs. Note that you need to make those particular changes BEFORE completing the installation of SharePoint 2010.
