    Hi,

    I have been doing some research regarding the SSRS and it seems that they are not available in VS2010. Is it true? 

    My environment is VS2010 and SQL Server 2008 r2. How can I work with SSRS and BIDS please?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    You'll need to use the Business Intelligence Studio installed with SQL Management Studio on your client. It should be in the Start menu under the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 folder.

    It is based off of the VS 2008 Shell, unfortunately.  In SQL 2012, they moved BIDS into the Visual Studio 2010 Shell.

    Shouldn't it be possible to install just the SQL Tools portion of SQL 2012 to get the BIDS for VS2010? I am looking for someone who has solved this issue.
