connect to Oracle ERP from MS Infopath without BDC

Is it possible to connect to Oracle ERP from MS Infopath and read values without using BDC ?
The idea is to directly use the values without BDC in between?

Hi,
Infopath is designed to use web services so you may to use them in order to connect to Oracle. Please take a look at these articles:
