    the two related topic did not answer this issue.  anyone experience this??

    The deployment fails within 15 seconds with the following error log:

    [5/11/2012 4:05:18 PM]: Start Time: 5/11/2012 4:05:18 PM.
    [5/11/2012 4:05:18 PM]: Progress: Initializing Export.
    [5/11/2012 4:05:19 PM]: Progress: Starting Export.
    [5/11/2012 4:05:19 PM]: Progress: Calculating Objects to Export.
    [5/11/2012 4:05:22 PM]: FatalError: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
       at Microsoft.SharePoint.Deployment.SPExport.CalculateContentTypeDependencies(Boolean linksOnly)
       at Microsoft.SharePoint.Deployment.SPExport.CalculateObjectDependencies(Boolean linksOnly)

    Nebulous,

        I was hoping to get some more information about your deployment.  What are you trying to deploy, and from where to where?  Also, can you check the ULS logs corresponding to that timestamp you see from the error log and see what it says?
