I have a Win 2008R2 SP1 Windows server and I'm trying to connect to a SQL 2008R2 SP1+CU2 SQL Cluster.  I am able to connect using 32-bit ODBC without issue.  However, the 64-bit ODBC fails.  I have 64-bit TCP/IP enabled in Configuration Manager.  Why would this still fail?

    Hi fubak,

Why do you use ODBC to connect SQL Server? Could you describe your situation more detailed? What error message did you receive?

If your SQL Server is 32 bit, I don’t think it can use 64 bit odbc driver.

    Best Regards,
