    Hello Paul,

    I found the error "Access is denied(0x80070005)". Did you use a Domain Administrator to run the SCE console? And does the user has a local administrator privilege on the managed computers? 

    On you DC, please open Active Directory Users and Computers, choose Users - SCE Managed Computers, double click it and choose Security tab, make sure the computer account of SCE server have the full control access.

    Oh sorry i replied last week but it must not have submitted or something, My account is a member of the domain admins which is a member of the local administrators group, i also added my account to the to the local administrators as well but it did not make a difference. Under security i do have a SERVERNAME$ which has full control but it has a user icon and not a computer icon. If i try to add the computer it doesnt seem to change anything. Should i remove the other one?

    I'm having the exact same issue and the above solution does not work.   Does anyone have any other ideas?

    I need help on this aswell, i get the same errors doing inventory and detecting software.
