  I have installed Visual Studio 2003, but and it told me that there were compatability issues.
  
  I tried to download sp1 for vista, but the system told me it could not be installed.
  
  I then downloaded sp1 and it installed properly. 
  
  Has anyone else tried Visual Studio 2003 and got it to work with the sp1 vista update?
  
  I am afraid I installed the wrong patch and will have problems later
