1. First of all, do not write your e-mail address here - for your security reason.

Hi,
Base on my test, mouse should works when Windows 8 wake from sleep.
I suggest to perform these test to troubleshoot the issue:
1 Restart PC, press Win+C-----Settings---Power---Sleep. Then bring it out of sleep to see if the same issue occurs.2 Reinstall USB controllers:
To remove and reinstall all USB controllers, follow these steps:
a. ClickStart, clickRun, typesysdm.cpl in theOpen box, and then clickOK.
b. Click theHardware tab.
c. Click theDevice Manager button.
d. ExpandUniversal Serial Bus controllers.
e. Right-click every device under theUniversal Serial Bus controllers node, and then clickUninstall to remove them one at a time.
f. Restart the computer, and then reinstall the USB controllers.
g. Plug in the removable USB storage device, and then test to make sure that the issue is resolved.3 Update BIOS and chipset.
If the issue persists, I suggest to change another mouse or create another user profile for test.
Hope that helps.
