Hi guys.
I read many articles on the net and was quite sure that I'll get some solution but all in vain when even Microsoft guys are charging 299$ for a single problem resolution. Here is my positive approach and I think this will help. Well, What I have is a Laptop Acer Aspire 5830T with Core i3-2310 M, Hd -821 MB Intel, 2 Gb+ 4 Gb, 500 Gb. From the dat I buyed laptop I get frequent Blue Screen soon after I start using it. I reformatted my system with the given utility in Acer and installed just the normal software like Adobe, Corel, Office for use. But in 24 hrs only it gave me 4-6 times Blue Death Screen.
I am in fear if I loose the inbuilt repair utility or software provided with Laptop if Windows crashes somehow and I will have to install everything from Windows DVD itself. Kindly help me out in this weird situation. plz...

Please post a copy of your dumpfile as a shared file to your Sky Drive with a link here.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/254649The dumpfile will be created at c:\windows\minidump. You may need to change your settings in Windows to be able to see the file. To show hidden files type Folder Options in the search box above the Start button and select View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked.
What is your computer make and model? If not a branded computer what is your motherboard make and model?
Type System information in the Search Box above the start Button and press the ENTER key. What is your BIOS version and date?
Hope this helps, Gerry

Hi,
You may check the event logs and the dump file, that will help you troubleshooting the issue.
The log file will be %systemroot%\Minidump which is normally C:\windows\Minidump

Computers are sold with out of date drivers. The process of updating drivers never stops during the warranty period.
For advice on how to configure your system to create dump files please read:

Open your My computer and locate c:\windows\ mini-dump folder. It contains dump folder. Just zip the mini-dump folder and upload it in sky drive.
