    I am moving data from one windows 2003 server to a new one with an external USB HD.
    I can mount the dive and store data on one of the servers but the new server loading the drivers but the USB drive newer shows in the drivelist or diskmanager.
    Anyone have a clue?

    I found a post that is very similar with yours and he solved it by changing driver letter.

    Also, please check if the following registry value is 1. If not, please change it to 1.
