Pet peeve: Numlock of Host
-
17. června 2008 14:50OK, I am sorry if this may seem "childish", but I have to let know my little frustration about the Hyper-V manager and the VM windows that keep changing the state of my Numlock!!!!!!
I want it ON, but everytime I open a VM, it keeps switching it to OFF, and for the love of me, I can't find a way to make it stop that...
There, I feel better, and who knows, maybe this little thing may get corrected in the final version ;)

in VMM you can individually set the Num Lock state of any VM.
And you can do this in Hyper-V as well.
In both places it is on the BIOS setting screen of the VM.and, yes, Num Lock is off by default - I understand your point.
However, you could also create a hardware profile in VMM and set it on.(all in good humor)

17. června 2008 15:39Hi Brian!!
Thanks for the reply, and it is accepted in good humor, just like the post, although it is still serious, :D
It's just that I cannot find the way to get in the bios (as we used to do in VS, I only see a HYPER-V screen then the startup screen of the VM), and I cannot find where to have this done in the VMM... Unless it's because I have the VMM for Vista 32bit, and the server is 64bit?
Haaa the joy of the IT worlds, hehehe -
