L2TP certificate attributes?

L2TP certificate attributes?

I'm labbing out TMG and trying to set up an L2TP vpn solution. My client and server both have certificates from the internal CA, but when I try to connect I get an error unless I uncheck "Verify the Name and Usage attributes of the server's certificate" on the Win 7 client. I know that the name on the certificate is correct and the EKU is server authentication; what other attributes is it looking for?
