Hello,
See this page - it documents Winsocket errors;http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms740668(v=vs.85).aspx
I can't really say what the problem is - does the App-V client operate well in general or is this a specific piece of software that has an issue?

in a group of 45 machines, there will be aleast 3-4machines with this error. it's not fixed to a particular software nor computer. any idea?
Btw, having same machine SID will it affect app-v operations??

Hello,
Those 3-4 machines probably have a common thing that breaks everything. It would be a good idea to identify what that is.
Having the same machine SID could be a potential problem - I suggest you verify that it isn'tNicke Källén | The Knack| Twitter: @Znackattack

If all your 3-4 machines have same SID, then it can create several problems.
Please sysprep those machines.
Open an elevated cmd and write the following:
C:\Windows\System32\sysprep>sysprep /generalize /shutdown
