I'm running SCCM in native mode and WSUS both on a single server. I just applied SCCM SP2 (upgraded from SP1 R2) and WSUS SP2 (upgraded from SP1).
Since the upgrade I have tried without success to install the SCCM client on Windows 7 workstations. Here is a ccmsetup/log excerpt from the windows 7 machine:

    <![LOG[Client OS Version is 6.1, Service Pack Version 0]LOG]!><time="16:18:31.833+420" date="11-25-2009" component="ccmsetup" context="" type="1" thread="3856" file="ccmsetup.cpp:533">
    <![LOG[Client OS is not a supported Windows Embedded Platform]LOG]!><time="16:18:31.833+420" date="11-25-2009" component="ccmsetup" context="" type="1" thread="3856" file="ccmsetup.cpp:535">

I also notice that there are no default collection groups for windows 7 or windows 2008 R2, which I thought the upgrade to SP2 would have created.
Did my install of sp2 fail despite the reported success from the installer?
Why does windows 7 appear to be unsupported?
