I have read somewhere (and forgotten where) that if you have public folders configured on a mailbox server you can't configure a certain thing.... recovery databases? database availability groups??? i cant remember but i am sure there is some limitation... anyone have any ideas. if public folders are implemented then this means i cant use ....????

    thank you

    Hi

If you have a public folder on Exchange 2010 standard edition then you can only have 4 mailbox databases.  Also public folders cannot be protected as part of a DAG, they can exist on a server that is a DAG member but they can only be protected by public folder replication.

    Cheers, Steve
