Forefront and SQl Authenication across untrusted domains
- We have two network load balanced web servers and an application server in domainA, and the sql server is on a cluster in a different untrusted domain: domainB. SQL is standard 2008 64 bit, the web and application servers are 64 bit windows server 2008. We are using sql authentication for the sql server and sharepoint.
Sharepoint is latest patched and same for the operating system.
Is it possible to install forefront security for sharepoint on the web front ends using sql authentication?
I have been looking for a work around like we had to use for installing MOSS 2007.

- i never received any word from microsoft on this, we just increased the trust between domains and used windows authentication for forefront.
