Locked Upgrade to Forefront SP3 now showing signature update error

    I've upgraded to Forefront SP3 on a single WSS server. Since the upgrade I see the error:

    Not all the engines selected in the Forefront Administrator for scanning have been enabled for signature updates.

    in the application log every hour.


    I have tried rebooting the server, starting and stopping the Forefront services and have disabled the scan engines/unchecked the file scanners and reconfigured them but I am still seeing the error.


    I have installed Forefront SP3 on another SharePoint server and on a WSS server but have the same error on all three.
    I have tested Forefront and it appears to be working but would like to resolve this error
