    Hi,

When i tried to install OLsync to live@edu purpose. The following error was displayed and i couldnt move further.

    >>The computer doesn't trust the outlook live server certificate.Using certificate manager, open the personal certificate store on this computer, locate the outlook live server certificate, and manually trust the certificate.

    >>I even verified the MMS folder for the personal certificate but no certificates were present.

When i verified the event viewer the error message was defined as:

    >>OLsync setup error.Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message: The server certificate on the destination computer (ps.outlook.com:443) has the following errors:The SSL certificate could be checked for revocation. The server used to check for revocation might be unreachable. For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic.

Please help me to proceed further in this implementation.

    Thanks,

    Aravind P

Since you're part of Live@edu, it is probably worth contacting the free support available to you.  Use the administrative account for your domain to log in to eduadmin.live.com and there should be a support link with contact info and an online form.

You can also post to outlookliveanswers.com for Live@edu-specific questions.

I have played a little bit with OLsync on a test FIM 2010 server, but not with ILM.  You might want to double-check the published prerequisites for OLsync to see if you missed something (patch level, PowerShell installed, etc.)
