  Hi,

  No, you can't directly upgrade Lync standard edition to enterprise edition by entering license key. You need to re-deploy the setup and choose enterprise edition with all prerequsites like SQL backend detabase.

  if you want to move to enterprise edition, first you must install it in your farm and move cms to enterprise server, than move your users to enterprise pool, after migrate all users and after move cms you can uninstall standard server, with key you cannot upgrade becuse there is functional differences between standard and enterprise servers.

  Hi,John,

  As they said you cannot simply upgrade Lync Standard Edition to Enterprise Edition,because there are lots of things should be considereed,such as database edition,CMS role,migrate user and so on.
