Turbo Delphi Explorer on Windows 7 RC 7100
- Well i encounter problems with the Turbo Delphi Explorer on Windows 7.
When i start the Application, it gives some errors about "Systemerror: Code 87. Invalid Parameters".
Some User of the software found out that this happens when the IDE dock's into the Application.
(The Objectinspector)
Well When i use the traditional "Undocked" Design it works.
The Programm works on Vista too.. With and without docking.
So maybe u can check if u can patch this..

- Displaced,
I'm glad you've found a workaround in the form of using the Undocked design for the time being. I'd recommend bringing this problem to the attention of Turbo Explorer, so that they can ensure their software is compatible with Windows 7.

- Hello people,
Did you have found a solution for the Turbo Delphi explorer on Windows 7 RC issue (System Error. Code:87) ? I'm going to use it in classic undocked mode that is working fine but I'd like to solve such issue to use the default layout.
regards,
Silvio - I've experienced exactly the same thing. Thanks for the workaround, that's better than CDN/EDN support!
BTW, have you experienced any problems REPORTING the failure using the integrated error report? When I try, the last step always fails with "XML Document must have a top level element". I may just report it using QC if it's possible, but if more than one of us sees the same IDE error, it's more likely they'll fix it. I hope.
-PCPete - Hi PCPete,CDN/EDN Quality Central is still the best place to report Delphi issues, either it is related to Turbo or other SKUs. As we noticed, Embarcadero guys have spent a lot of efforts on the latest release to support latest Windows technologies including Windows 7. These issues may already be resolved in Delphi 2010 (Weaver), and hope they can back-port the fixes to old versions of Delphi.
