    Hello all,

I found the SCSI CDROM in windows 7 is very slow and it will make the computer slow in starting machine, shutdown the machine and load the CD. It will not be slow in windows XP but do not know why it is slow in windows 7. Please advise

Does the SCSI adapter support Windows 7? If it is true, do you have installed latest driver. (Why have you not discovered the model of SCSI adapter here?)

We have installed the latest driver which support Windows 7. The model of the SCSI adapter is Adaptec 19160.

    Thanks

    Hi  ,

You may remove the SCSI CDROM and its driver to check if Windows 7 start normally.

If the Windows 7 starts normally without it, you may check the issue from the hardware side.
