Add Network Location Wizard Does Not Add

Donnerstag, 29. Januar 2009 03:09I was trying to connect to an FTP site.
I go to add a network location (wizard)
Choose FTP site (custom)
Specify User Name and Password if Required Screen:
BUG (unless I am doing this wrong): If I specify a user name, and finish the installer, the network place is never created.
Workaround: If I leave the default option (log on anonymously) and continue through it, it will create the network location. I should then be able to log in when I open the network location. Except for that handle bug.
This bug affects Windows XP (I still have this problem in SP3), and perhaps vista also.
