Okay I have one ASUS Eeepc net book running windows 7 starter (which you cannot create a homegroup on) and I have a dell inspiron duo(netbook/tablet) which is running windows 7 home premium (which I have created a homegroup on). My dell (W7HP) is using the internet through bluetooth link from my windows mobile(6.1) phone. Asus does not have bluetooth so how in the world do I share the internet connection with it.

The computers almost seem to connect, and I turned on ICS, but it just doesnt seem to work. I tried doing adhoc but that shows up as a "public network" and wont let me share anything.

This whole home group thing is gonna put me in the nut house. squirrelville here i come haha

No but really help the convienance of modern technology is just getting ridiculous.

Do you have a router, or else get a router, given that router prices are cheap nowsaday

    Hi,

First, you should check that both of your netbooks have wireless network adapter, then share your Dell Bluetooth network to the Dell wireless adapter, set Dell wireless adapter as wireless AP.
This is only an idea, since I have not devices to have a test, and this method is based on your Bluetooth adapter which could share network to wireless adapter.  Of course, wired network is similar with wireless one, the difference is you need one cable to connect the netbooks.
