I have Remote Desktop server installed on windows server 2008r2 name "TS"

I move RD server to new hardware and assigned name as "TS2" and installed CAL's, but on users request I rename it to "TS" and again activated CAL's licenses.

so now I am facing issue with remote Desktop it show following pop-up:

and on Remote Desktop session host configuration page its shows following error message:

so is there any way so I can remove this "TS2"(as TS2 is no more in used) and use "TS" so I will be able to use CAL's?

    Hi,

In RD Session Host Configuration (tsconfig.msc) you may specify/edit the list of RD License servers.  In your screen shot you need to select RD Session Host Configuration in the left pane and then in the middle pane you will see Remote Desktop license servers which you should double-click on to edit.

An alternative is to set the RD license server via group policy setting.  If the RDL server is already specified via group policy you will not be able to make the change in RD Session Host Configuration, you will need to change in the GPO.
