Who Will Be the First to Tweak IE9 To Restore the Page Title into the Title Bar?

It's a well-known fact that if you disable the tabbed view (i.e., you prefer to use multiple separate windows for your browser pages) the Page Title from whatever web page you visit doesn't show up anywhere.
How does a blatant omission like this pass a design review?
It's like someone at Microsoft doesn't think titles belong in Title Bars any more. Who is this person, and do they actually USE a computer?
In a similar vein, Windows Explorer windows no longer put the path in the Title Bar - unless you use one of the fine aftermarket products such as ShellFolderFix or ClassicShell to restore the Title Bar to service.
Has anyone figured out yet what to tweak to put the page title in the Window Title Bar for IE9?

Quero. So you could use ProcMon to figure out what it does.
Ok,I think I may be liking the Quero toolbar. I'll withhold final judgment until I've used it a few days, but it's looking good so far.
Normally I'm not a big fan of add-ons, but since this one comes with source code I've been able to turn it into just what I want.
Now my IE9 has both text in the title bar and also a full-time Search box.

Next development task: Widening that search box a bit.

Absolutely that's better. It has a bit of lightening of the background to help with readability, and I find the title essential.
Here's how my Windows Explorer windows look. They have the same kind of partially transparent title bar as IE9. And yes, this is LIGHT YEARS better than a blank, empty title bar.

Where's the page title in this presentation?

By the way, Robert, what does "Quero" mean?

Never mind, found it via a web search.http://sharepointfrank.wordpress.com/2011/03/26/ie9-how-to-enable-title-bar-display/
Notably the source code for Quero is available. :)
Thanks for the tip, Robert!

I just wanted to mention that its separate search box and UI layout configurability are among the reasons FireFox continues to gain ground on IE...
Here's FireFox 4 configured without tabs, with a separate search box, with menus active, and with an actual title in the title bar, yet MINIMAL chrome getting in the way of the browsing experience.
Microsoft, with all your resources you should be able to do at least this well!

No thanks, I like Aero for its visual enhancements, but thanks for the thought.
ClassicShell 3.1.0 has now also got the ability to restore the title, as well as several of the items in the Status Bar! Good stuff.

Sunday, June 05, 2011 3:10 AMFingers crossed the search bar is next on their to-do list.
What a pity we have to rely on third-party hacks to do what the MSFT IE team could do in one day. -

I mentioned above, I think, the Quero toolbar. There are a few minor problems with it at the moment, but I've been working with the developer to test and provide feedback. I have a version I'm building from source that puts up a separate search box...
