Exchange2003 server reject forwarding from other ExchOrg by default setting ?

    Question

  • I made contact of other Exch2003Org and set email forwarding and sent test mail, and

    I get following NDR message.

Exchange2003 server reject forwarding from other ExchOrg by default setting ?

Your message wasn't delivered due to a permission or security issue. It may have been rejected by a moderator, the address may only accept e-mail from certain senders, or another restriction may be preventing delivery.

The following organization rejected your message: mail.smtpdomainname.com.

If that's not your domain you'll have to ask the e-mail admin at the
other why you aren't able to send e-mail to that contact's address.

  • Thank you.

    Exchange 2003Org is our domain(OrgA.)

    Exchange 2010Org is other domain.(OrgB)

I made contact object of OrgA in OrgB domain.

And I set email forwarding of mailbox user in OrgB to forward those contact but.

And I sent test mail to maibox user in OrgB but NDR is returned. So I would like to resolve it.

And these are two separate Exchange organizations, each of them in a
    separate AD Forest?

    Please provide the entire NDR.

If the "OrgA" contact in "OrgB" refers to a mailbox in "OrgA" then
perhaps that mailbox doesn't accept e-mail from anonymous connections?
