Getting a "APPCRASH" error when opening a form in Access 2007

    Question

  • I have been using Access 2007 for some time on Windows 7 Enterprise edition. I have made a form that has several links to other forms. Sometimes when I hit the button to run the links, I get an error saying " Access can't run" and closes down in locked form. It gives me the error "APPCRASH" and gives me another error that pertains to PRIVACY NOTICE. What can this be? I have been using this program for some time now and never have had a problem. Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi Ocu_bill,

A number of different things could be causing these errors.  Could you let me know the full (and exact please) error messages.  That will help narrow the possibilities.  Also, do you see all the errors only when clicking command buttons to open forms?

    Thanks in advance!
