  • Server 2003 R2 and 2833949

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2003 R2 x86

Patch from 10.07.2013, Patchday July 2013, 2833949 broke 2003 R2 32BIT, with Exchange 2003 (All Updates) Backend Exchange in our second WSUS-Test Enviroment complete. Uninstall of KB2833949 resolved it.

    Behaviour:

    - No Ping

    - No RDP

    - In generall no incoming or out ougoing packets

    - While we did a PING -t you can see the PING coming back at 60% of the Uninstall of the patch

Really glad we migrated almost all customer to Exchange 2007/2010 the last few months.
