PowerPivotConfigTool has stopped working

    when I run PowerPivot Configuration tool for the second time(first it ran perfectly), I get this error message while it's in the "Examining your system. Please wait..."

  • Hi 9BALLZ,

    Please go to the following path to collect more detail log information regarding this issue:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Tools\PowerPivotTools\SPAddinConfiguration\Log

    In addition, the PowerPivot Configuratin tool show the version of your SQL Server is SQL Server 2012 SP1. Please also help to collect the following information:

    • SQL Server PowerPivot for SharePoint version
    • SharePoint version
    • Windows OS detail informtion
