  • I am not sure why we have to change registry tweak for report builder & what is advantage. i am using SCCM RTM report builder 1.0 can i change to 3.0?

  • Hi,

    Th report builder version is related with which version SQL you are using, SQL 2008 ships with report builder 2.0 and SQL 2008 R2 and 2012 ships with Report Builder 3.0. The defualt value is to use Report Builder 2.0 so if you are using a SQL version newer than 2008 you need to change the value to be able to edit a report from within the console.

  • You only have to edit that regkey if report builder does not open when using the ConfigMgr console.
