Can't recreate activesync virtual directory

    General discussion

  • Hi, I've got an SBS 2011 server where exchange active sync is not working.

    If I run the "fix my network" option in the SBS Console then it says that "Exchange SMTP connectors are invalid" and when I try to fix it, it says "The server cannot connect the SMTP connectors. Ensure that Exchange is running, and then try again."

    If I go to EMC>Server Config>Client Access and then click on the Exchange Activesync tab it's empty.

    If I go to IIS then under default website there is a virtual directory called Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync.

    If I run exchange connectivity tester I get the result below...

    The Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer failed to obtain an Autodiscover XML response.

    An error message was returned from the Autodiscover service

    </Error>
    </Action>
    </Response>
    </Autodiscover>

    Any ideas what I need to do to resolve this?
