I'm working on a custom report for CRM 4.0 on SSRS 2008. The report works fine except the embedded jpg file is showing as a red X after uploaded into CRM 4.0. When I preview the report on SSRS on my local environment, the logo image appears fine. When I view the file in CRM Report Manager or CRM I see a red X.
I'm wondering if the binary code may not be interpreted correctly on the MS 2008 server.
Does anyone have ideas on how I can get this corrected?

Please try to test the report on a remote machine outside the MSCRM in Report Viewer. I.e. browse the report in the report directory and display in a web browser remotely.
I'm a little confused. My development environment is outside the MSCRM server. There I can preview the report on SSRS 2008 and the logo appears. On my local environment if I try to open the rdl file via a browser I just see the code.
Once I move it to the customer site the image is lost.
But you should upload (register) your report inside MSCRM from reports area. Reports area could be located under your workplace area.
