I need to store all the previous mailnicknames used by each user account and check for uniquesness before creating new mailnickname.
A)in RCDC, can we check uniqueness against a multivalued attribute?
my:Property my:Name = " UniquenessValidationXPath " my:Value = " /Person[MailNickname='%VALUE%']| /Person[MultiValuedPrevoiusMailNicknames='%VALUE%'] " />
b) In fim WAL, can a conflict filter be used to check against a multivalued attribute?
/Person[MailNickname='[//Value]' or MultiValuedPreviousMailNickNames='[//Value]']
Thanks in advance.
this cant be done with OOB functions in FIM.
Like your other question, the following possibilities:
- Own custom activity with WF
- FIM Powershell Activity
- MV Code Extensions
and i remember that the Function Evaluator frim tools4fim (OCG) had some genarate unique attribute function, using an SQL table beside.
See also this thread, because the question can maybe put together into one thread i think.
