general question about raid 0

    Question

  • hi.

I read about raid O  I see in a picture it writes data like this portion in  block 1  portion in block2   portion in block 3 prtion inblock 4  ect.

now a question comes in my mind suppose I am working on a document which is very large . now when I save this document it wil be written partially in block one and partially in block 2  or it wil be written in block one only ?

I myself think it wil write portion on block 1 and portion on block2.

  • May depend on the cluster size and file size. Raid 0 is a non-fault tolerant stripped set so if you lose either disk you have lost it all.
