Appointment invites out by 2 days

    Question

  • Hello,

We have a very weird problem.

Calendar/appointment invites sent from one member of staff to another, result in the recipient seeing a completely different time, to the time originally specified by the organiser. If this isn't enough, the appointment may also be out by 2 days - so that the appointment appears to start 2 days earlier than originally organised!

We have checked time zone settings on the affected machines and all seems ok. Our domain machines sync to a member server for time.

We have tried sending appointments from OWA, but the recipient still sees an incorrect time/day within the invite.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

  • Are we talking about the behavior against Office 365 Exchange account?

"We have tried sending appointments from OWA, but the recipient still sees an incorrect time/day within the invite."

    - If we got the same result even received from OWA, there should be none business of Outlook client but Exchange Server.

"We have checked time zone settings on the affected machines and all seems ok. "

Time zone would not be the root since the difference of days isn't within one day.

  • Thanks Tony, but the resolution was simple. Restart the mail server.
