Our company is migrating from a Server 2003 w/Exchange 2003 to an SBS 2011 environment. I've been performing the migration on some deprecated testing servers at the moment, resolving each problem as it crops up, in order to be ready for a live migration early next month.
Active directory now migrates successfully, and I can move mailboxes and public folders without too much effort. However, I've been searching far and wide, but have not yet found any consistant information regarding mail rules.
We have server side mail rules applying to both user mailboxes and public folders. Is there a specific process to migrating these, and if so, what is it? Or do the rules move with the public folders and mailboxes?
If it is the case that the move is performed with the folder migration, is there any way to verify that any or all rules have migrated across successfully?
