No SSO to SP2010 from UAG with SP4

    Question

  • I just installed SP4 and now no longer get the mobile login page when using IE11, but the SSO to my SP2010 (using FBA) no longer works...(not to mention InfoPath forms in the form webpart link) So I still have to put the site in the Compatibility View List...anybody know how to work around this issue?

  • I have the same problem.  Putting the browser in compatibility mode posts the credentials back, but without it, it fails.

    Telling our clients to put it into compatibility mode is not an option.  Any fix for this yet?

  • Define the User Agent for IE 11 in FormLoginDataDefinitions.xml under \von\conf

    Ex:

    <USER_AGENT id="IE11">
           <NAME>Internet Explorer 11</NAME>
           <SIGNATURE check_by="search">rv:11</SIGNATURE>

    <USER_AGENT>

    and add this id to the required USER_AGENT_GROUP

    For example, if your SSO FormLogin.xml limits this to <AGENT_TYPE search="group">all_supported</AGENT_TYPE>

    Then, in the FormLoginDataDefinitions.xml add <USER_AGENT_ID>IE11</USER_AGENT_ID> under <USER_AGENT_GROUP name="all_supported">

    This should work

    Try this in dev environment before making changes to prod and also try to backup all the files involved.

  • Works for me.

    Be careful. In the example above the closing <USER_AGENT> is wrong.

    <USER_AGENT id="IE11">
           <NAME>Internet Explorer 11</NAME>
           <SIGNATURE check_by="search">rv:11</SIGNATURE>
    </USER_AGENT>
