Filter dynamically

    Question

  • Hi,

In the attached screenshot, my base data is in range A1:B11 and criteria for filtering will be mentioned in range D1:D4.  I'd like to generate the result (via Power Query) as shown in range F1:G4.  Is there a way that Power Query can take the criteria specified in range D1:D4 and show the result dynamically.

  • you could create a Power Query using "From Table" for Range A1:B11

then another one for Range D1:D4

then use Power Query --> Merge  and merge those two queries only including matching rows

then you can remove all the unnecessary columns and get the desired result
