Issue with DigiCert High Assurance EV Root CA

    Question

  • Hi,

I have downloaded Digicert High Assurance Root CA certificate that to be installed on two different servers (Windows 2003 64bit R2). This certificate needs to be installed on Current User Trusted Root Certification Authority store in both the cases. Before installing the certificate I have search Current User Certificates for all stores with keyword "Digicert". I have not found any entry both the cases. Now on one server, when I open the .cer file, it is showing the certificate with proper trust (Refer Digicert_Working.jpg) and after installing it is working very fine.

But... on another server, when I try to open same certificate file, it is showing that certificate is not trusted (refer Digicert_NotWorking.jpg). As usual when I installed this certificate, it is not working as expected. I am not able to find out any solution or even reason for this.

It will be good if someone can help.

  • Hi,

It seems like that the OS version of the two server is different, we may use another new installed server to test the certificate.

Hope the below link could be helpful for you:
