Windows sbs 2011 backup deleting procedure help needed!

    Question

  • Hi

I have configured backup through windows sbs 2011 console after connecting an USB 500 GB HDD as a backup drive and the backup status is reported as successful until today from the day beginning .I am afraid that when I check the free space it is reporting only 1% free and may stop backing up today.

Please reply me and guide me!

  • Hi,

I recommend that you save the old backup for at least one month. Based on the current situation, you may move the oldest backup files to other location. You may delete them after making sure your other backup versions are good.
