Neural network "as t"

    Question

  • What is "t" in DMX query related to mining models?

For example: SELECT [NN].[Modul], Predict[Modul]) From [NN] NATURAL PREDICTION JOIN (SELECT 2013 as [year]) AS t

Answers

  • "t" is an input alias. You can put 'a', 'b' or 'c' in its place and it will still work :)

  • T in alias or object used to instantiate all the attributes of the inner select statements

    for example,

    SELECT TOP 25 t.CustomerKey, t.FirstName, t.LastName
    FROM TargetMailCL
    PREDICTION JOIN
    OPENQUERY([Adventure Works DW],'SELECT * FROM vTargetMail') AS t
    ON
       t.Age =
        TargetMailCL.Age AND
       t.CommuteDistance =
        TargetMailCL.[Commute Distance] AND
       t.Gender =
        TargetMailCL.Gender
