Asked by:
Linux NFS share to Windows 2008 R2 cluster as a resource
-
Hello Team,
We want to share /test directory to Windows 2008 R2 server with read only access from RHEL5 server via NFS, /etc/exports file entry.
So that we could make it as a cluster resource and all users of cluster could access it when login from their laptop as a local drive.
Kindly share the best practice to implement the same.
Thanks

Hi,
Services for NFS enables you to support a mixed environment of Windows-based and UNIX-based operating systems. You can enable computers running Windows Server 2008 R2 to access resources on UNIX-based file servers.
For more detailed information, you could refer to the article below:

Thanks Mandy Ye,
Actually we need to share this Linux nfs share among Windows 2008 R2 cluster users. Kindly share the best practice to accomplish the same.
Is it possible to make the mounted Linux nfs share on Windows 2008 R2 cluster node as a cluster resource so that all the cluster users when log in could access it as a local drive from their laptop?
Thanks
