Get-HotFix cmd let returns wrong update timestamp ?

    Question

  • Hi,

Can anyone here please clarify, why the Get-HotFix cmd let on my Windows Server 2008 Ent SP2, powershell v2.0 returns wrong InstalledOn time stamp of the update applied ?

For example I have applied the manual Windows Update from the internet at 11 AM GMT+10 but the cmdlet result shows 2 AM for the same date.

  • Have you checked in Control Panel - Windows Update - update history? Are the installed date/time the same as displayed in Get-HotFix output?
