Problem to install project standard 2010 in Windows XP SP3.

    Question

  • My customer has a problem when install project 2010. She cannot install and stuck like this picture: 

    She already uninstall and try install again. It's still problem, please suggestion solution
    Her PC specification,

    Dell Latitude E6400

    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo CPU P8700 @2.53 GHz

    1.95 GB Ram

    XP Professional SP3

    you will need to examine the Office setup logfile for further information/analysis.

    By default, Office will write the setup logfile to %TEMP%
    e.g.: C:\Users\someuser\AppData\Local\Temp\SetupExe(201307101222391510).log

    (if the setup.exe is launched via GPO startup script or ConfigMgr, as LocalSystem, check %windir%\temp )

    Thank you, but it's complex. do you have the hotfix to uninstalling and install again smoothly.

    your log reveals :
    Error: Failed to install product: C:\MSOCache\All Users\{90140000-003A-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}-C\PrjStdWW.msi ErrorCode: 1603(0x643).

    This error is inconclusive, further verbose MSI logs are required.
