SSRS Bar Chart

    Question

  • Hi Expert,

    I have been
    trying to make a bar chart in SSRS but could not get the exact result that i
    wanted.<o:p></o:p>

    The field
    itemid is composed of 47 items. need to display the commit and shipqty per
    itemid using bar chart.<o:p></o:p>

    attached
    sample as reference.

    Actually
    this is my first time to do chart in SSRS. need your help guys guys. thanks.<o:p></o:p>

    Create table #sample1
    (Itemid nvarchar(35), 
    COmmitqty int,
    Shipqty int)
    Go
    Insert into #sample1
    select 'Item1',1580,10 union all
    select 'Item2',2000,630 union all
    select 'Item3',2400,510 union all
    select 'Item4',2470,10 union all
    select 'item5',8400,4420
    
    Go
    select * from #sample1

  • Create a table Sample1 in any of the databases you already have. Launch Report Builder 3 and create a data source connecting to your database in which you created Sample1.

    Create a dataset using the above data source.

    Create a report or a chart based on the dataset.
