  • Hi CCCJJJJJ,

Reporting Services data alerts are a data driven alerting solution that helps you be informed about report data that is interesting or important to you, and at a relevant time. Data alert contains a subject to display the predominant theme. The default subject of the email is Data alert for <alert name>. We can change the subject to fit our needs. However, the subject is static. No matter how we change the subject, it is always static display. So we cannot achieve your requirement in current release of Reporting Services.

    Thank you for your understanding.

  • If you're asking in SSRS reports, its possible to get it using expression like

    =Globals!ReportName & " is published for " & Globals.ExecutionTime

  • Would it be possible to get report date (e.g 10/10/2011), the execution time is current time.

  • The content shows all the columns in the report and i have about 20 columns in the report. Once the email is received it is not even presentable the headings take up 3 rows and the data takes up another 3 rows.

Is there a way to display selected columns in data alert email.

    Thanks,

    Anil
